The Maison Pinot Chevauchet is classified as RM because all the production process is carried out by the company itself, using only grapes grown in its own land.
Located in Moussy, between Epernay and Cramant, therefore between the Marne Valley and the Cote de Blancs. It enjoys a favorable position for the production of representative champagne of the territory.
The grapes that make up this cuvée, were harvested in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The refermentation started in the spring of 2011, consequently it remained sur lie for 72 months and after disgorgement for a further year.
Champagne Brut Cuvée Joyeuse Pinot Chevauchet
Straw yellow with shades of gold.
The nose has vivid fragrances of flowers, from delicate to more intense ones. Small notes of fresh fruit follow, with green apple and white peach. Finally marine features expressed by iodine notes.
On the palate the entrance is fresh and above all mineral. It expands nicely expressing a good volume brought by softness. Aromas of butter, honey and the brackish connotation of the territory of origin reach the nasal receptors in retrosolation.
Overall it is a pleasant champagne, tasty and enticing.
