Description

Champagne brut Exception Boisée 2011 Jean Diot

Variety: Pinot Meunier 33, Pinot Noir 33% e Chardonnay 33%

Brilliant straw yellow color, with golden reflections and pink hues.

The nose is enveloping, with intense aromas of pastry, croissants, toast and spices. Notes of small berries, green pepper and lime honey also caress those who taste it. Complexity, intensity and finesse, this champagne really has it all.

On the palate it confirms expectations, because it is abundant in the sip, but well distributed in its individual parts for perfect balance and harmony. Long and mellow, it releases aromas of red berries, custard and dried fruit.

As a whole, Jean Diot creates a Champagne of the highest class. A champion among champions.

Champagne brut Exception Boisée 2011 Jean Diot

The grapes come from the coteaux d’Epernay in the Marne department, southwest of Epernay in fact. Only the fruits of the old vines of Moussy and Vinay participate in the cuvée Exception.

The harvest takes place manually with careful selection of the best bunches.

During the pressing, the juices are separated variety by variety. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barriques. The assembly of the three varieties will take place only later.

The Cuvée is made exclusively with grapes from the 2011 vintage.

Referments in the bottle for a minimum period of 48 months.
