Description
Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco 2019 Tenuta Tamburnin
Variety: Malvasia di Schierano
The grapes come from the vineyards around the winery in Castelnuovo Don Bosco in the province of Asti.
The soil is of sedimentary origin with limestone clay and in the superficial silt layers.
Altitude and orientation: we are at an average height of 350 meters above sea level, while the plants are oriented towards the east.
Training system: against espalier with guyot pruning.
After the harvest, carried out manually, alcoholic fermentation starts in stainless steel containers. When the same has produced 6 degrees of volume, it is interrupted to leave the sugary residue necessary to become a sweet wine. Refine in the same steel container and one month in the bottle.
Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco 2019 Tenuta Tamburnin
Deep cherry pink color with purple reflections.
The nose has fresh scents of strawberry, wild strawberry and raspberry. Rose notes increase its complexity.
On the palate it is pleasantly and logically sweet, with all the hardness to give the wine drinkability and freshness. After being swallowed, aromas of wild strawberry return for a satisfying finish.
Overall it is a sweet wine of excellent quality, capable of accompanying many pastry processes.
