Avize, Champ Caïn, 1 hectare and 27 ares of Chardonnay planted in 1962.
The soil, dark limestone, shallow, has a clay-sandy-silty structure and is rich in gypsum gravel. It is a typical formation of friable calcareous rocks as well as the plaster on which it rests. The lieu-dit Champ Caïn, located in the lower part of the “coteau” and facing south, has perfect drainage and exposure.
