The Renolia Farm is truly eco-friendly, because many of the processing waste are recycled and exploited for a second life. Olive pomace becomes fuel. The vegetation water, another waste from the processing of oil, becomes fertilizer for an area planted in Pioppi, following a planned and developed disposal project of the University of Terni. The water necessary for breeding animals is fished from a well, a few hundred meters from the stables of the farm in the valley below.
All the places where Argei works are equipped with photovoltaic panels.
Fattorie Renolia produces Olives, grapes, goat’s milk. Salt, another feather in the cap, is worked, like the other raw materials produced, directly on site in the ancient Argei oil mill, in the Gergei winery, in the Renolia Farm and in the Fior di Sale laboratory.
