Description
Pouilly-Fumé 2012 Eric Louis
Sauvignon Blanc 100%
Straw yellow color with golden reflections.
The nose is delicately fruity, with white peach and Regina Claudia plum, follows the white rose, some stretches of dry grass and hay, and finally the flint, which hovers over the whole.
In the mouth it has lost the hardness deriving from the youthful exuberances in favor of a fine creaminess and excellent envelopment. In closing, minerality is also expressed with iodine notes. The finish is persistent.
Pouilly-Fumé 2012 Eric Louis
Different interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc, compared to those we are used to observing in Italy. In fact in the two denominations of the Loire, Sancerre Blanc and Pouilly-Fumé, both in Sauvignon Blanc, the wine does not have the exotic traits and the tomato leaf, but minerality in general and flint in particular.
