Variety: Pinot Noir 100%
Pale ruby red color, with garnet shades.
The nose is superb for elegance and breadth. The scents of tesa are of red plum and blackberry. Complex notes of undergrowth, tobacco, and subtle earthy notes follow. Gentle spices make the whole sinuous and caressing, elevating it among the great Pinot Noir.
On the palate it is voluminous and creamy. Yet the adjective elegant is conquered, because it is helped by the set of hardnesses. Remarkable the extension and the ability to persist after swallowing. The aromas are of blueberry, red currant and wild berries.
Excellent representation of Pinot Noir from the US state most suited to its cultivation: Oregon.
Ribbon Ridge Ridgecrest Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016 Authentique
Ridcrest is one of the most famous vineyards in all of Oregon. The appellation to which it belongs is Ribbon Ridge AVA, in turn contained in the Chehalem Mountains AVA appellation, which in turn belongs to the larger and more famous Willamette Valley AVA.
The vines have an age that varies between 35 and 40 years.
After the harvest, it ferments in 10-hectolitre French wooden vats. Refine in the same containers for at least 16 months.
It does not undergo any filtration or clarification, but simply by means of decanting.
