Brilliant ruby red with garnet hues.
The nose is intense and adorably complex. It comes in aromas of wild berries, black cherry, tobacco, leather, cocoa and spices in general. Hematic notes of iron anticipate those of aromatic herbs, cinchona and finally caressing ideas of brackish. Vibrant and clean, it has unusual but incredibly fascinating scents.
On the palate it has power, class and authority in expressing itself. The frame of hardness is excellent, where the brushstrokes of softness can be expressed with simplicity and elegance. Sip is copious and enveloping, balanced and in harmony. The aromas emanating from the palate are of fruit, rhubarb and eucalyptus.
Overall, it is surprising for its ability to remain close to its variety, namely Sangiovese, but at the same time it takes on the best of the Etna terroir. Great Sicilian red wine.

Tenuta Benedetta consists of three vineyards: Vigna Laura, Vigna Benedetta and Vigna Mariagrazia.
Vigna Benedetta is located in Passopisciaro, in the Feudo di Mezzo district, in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, at an altitude of 650 meters above sea level.
Variety: Sangiovese cultivated with Etna sapling with a density of 10,000 plants per hectare.

Harvest carried out manually in September
Alcoholic fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature in French oak truncated conical vats.
Refines for 15 months in 225 liter barriques and 500 liter French oak tonneaux, partly new and partly second passage.
