The rose is also present this year, like tobacco and undergrowth in autumn. The bouquet of perfumes is vast and well defined, in short, of quality.
On the palate we can note a remarkable balance between Form and Substance. The tannins are graceful and ripe, the mineral perception and acidity are well defined. Taken together, the softness is remarkable, for an underlying harmony that conquers. The finish is persistent with aromas of aromatic herbs, blackberry and spices.

The Castello di Grumello produces its Riserva Il Castello with grapes from the middle part of Colle Calvario in Grumello del Monte in the province of Bergamo, where the altitude is about 270 meters above sea level.
Soil: the soil is composed of clayey and calcareous marls.
It carries out the alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature.
It ages in 2nd and 3rd passage Bordeaux barriques for a period of 12 months. The Bordeaux barrique has a capacity of 225 liters.
