Description

Franciacorta rosé brut Vigna Dorata

Variety: Pinot nero 80% and Chardonnay 20%

With a pale pink color

The nose clearly perceives the red fruits, with currant, raspberry and consequently the grenadine. The pink and red rose also stands out.

In the mouth it stands out for the balance between minerality and creaminess. The fine carbon dioxide increases the quality and gives richness to the pleasantness of the sip.

The Franciacorta rosè from Vigna Dorata is an excellent example of a Franciacorta with pinot nero, elegant, sober and incredibly pleasant.

Franciacorta rosé brut Vigna Dorata

The Franciacorta rosé grapes are harvested in two vineyards, called “Cava” and “Stresà” in the locality Sala in the municipality of Cazzago San Martino.

Soil type: Morainic of alluvial origin, with a sandy loam texture.

The vineyard has an altitude of 230 meters above sea level and a south-west exposure to the sun.

The density is 5000 plants per hectare, while the type of cultivation is espalier with guyot pruning.

Harvest: it is done manually, and after pressing the whole bunches, for the Pinot Noir the contact with the skins is left for a few hours. After separating the solid parts from the liquids, the alcoholic fermentation continues in stainless steel containers.

The second fermentation takes place between April and May following the harvest. Referments for 30 – 36 months depending on the vintage.
