Produced with grapes from different vineyards in the municipalities of Labers, Tirolo and Marlengo in the province of Bolzano. The altitude varies from 500 to 650 meters above sea level.
The type of cultivation is a espalier with guyot pruning. Yield per hectare is 55 quintals.
After the harvest by hand, proceed with rasping and gentle crushing. The temperature is lowered to avoid the start of fermentation, and a cold maceration is carried out for about 12 hours. The subsequent alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in small stainless steel tanks. It follows maturation on the yeasts for 5 months.
Straw yellow color with green reflections.
The nose is characterized by splendid aromas of fruit, yellow peaches, banana and Muscat grapes. Even a small basket of citrus fruits, some yellow, others orange, are added to the whole. There is no lack of flowers, such as the delicate ones of camellia and meadow daisies.
In the mouth it is complete and fascinating, because without any delay it shows structure and at the same time elegance. Excellent softness with good creaminess and a slight residual sugar to help. Also the minerality from the shore of the hardness is able to well perceive, so as to result in its whole an excellent wine. Once swallowed, aromas of exotic fruit and sweet spices arrive from the palate. The memory that leaves is persistent.
Accompanies besides appetizers and first courses, also fish main courses and white meats. It does not fear the comparison with oriental dishes even if rich in spices.
