Description

Collio Pinot Grigio Murno 2015 Primosic

Variety: Pinot Grigio 100%

Produced with the only grapes harvested from the Murno vineyard in the municipality of San Floriano del Collio.

The soils are composed of marl and sandstone, with partial presence of clay poor in organic substances locally called Ponca.

The plant density is 4800 vines per hectare. The breeding system is against espalier with Guyot pruning.

The yield per hectare is 55 quintals.

After the harvest, leuve collected in small crates arrive in the cellar where the stalk is removed and then the grapes are crushed in a pneumatic press.

After a short cold maceration on the skins and the static decantation of the musts, the temperature is raised to 18 ° C, the selected yeasts are added and alcoholic fermentation is started in stainless steel tanks.

In the same containers it remains for a long time in contact with the residues of the yeasts. Subsequently it makes a short passage in large wooden barrels of 1500 liters. Before being placed on the market, it is refined for another 6 months in bottle.
