Straw yellow color

The nose has intense and fine aromas of broom and chamomile flowers. Follow the particular ideas of stone, graphite and flint. Spices with nutmeg and camphor also broaden the general view.

On the palate it is complex and very fine, with the minerality giving luster to the whole prospect of hardness. The substance is supported by the valid creaminess. The balance that values ​​both is in perfect balance. Aromas of flowers and aromatic herbs reach the nose.

In clear evolution, it is changing from fermentation scents to tertiaries.

Also in the 2016 vintage it is confirmed as one of the best Italian Pinot Grigio.

Friuli Isonzo Pinot Grigio Gris 2016 Lis Neris

Produced from the selection of grapes from a single vineyard located in the municipality of San Lorenzo Isontino, at an average altitude of 60 meters above sea level. The soil is gravelly and calcareous.

Vineyard is cultivated with organic fertilization and integrated phytosanitary defense. The vines have an average age of 26 years. Training system is Guyot, besides a planting density is 5,200 vines per hectare.

The harvest is manual and the yield per hectare is 50 hectoliters.

Alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels of 500 l (22-24 ° C). It refines in the same containers as on yeast residues for 11 months with frequent bâtonnage.

After bottling and a brief refinement in the bottle, it is placed on the market.

Lis Neris is a family company, admirably managed by Alvaro Pecorari.

Wines are produced exclusively with grapes coming from the vineyards of the property and from some vines grown directly in the Slovenian territory. In the vineyard the fight against pests is conducted with biological systems, and the vast majority of operations are carried out manually.

The company can boast a control of carbon dioxide emissions, and in terms of energy it uses solar energy captured and transformed by its own photovoltaic systems, making it completely self-sufficient.
