Description

Vino Rosso Rombo 2017 Bergkellerei Passeier

Variety: Merlot and Cabernet Franc 100%

Intense ruby red color, with garnet areas.

The nose is very intense and admirably complex. The aromas alternate between fruity and more vegetal ones, between spicy and toasted ones. Wild blackberries of bramble and plum stand out, those of basil and mint, the others of green pepper and yellow pepper, and finally tobacco, vanilla and dried fruit. Great Bordeaux blend from Alto Adige, capable of conquering space for a different and fascinating interpretation.

On the palate it is powerful, due to the sum of softness, but also severe, due to tannins and freshness. The sip does not tire, but on the contrary invites to tasting, because it is balanced. Very persistent, with aromas of fruit, vegetables and spices.

The young Konrad Pixner, is a passionate and refined winemaker. He manages to give personality to each wine he creates. This is because it favors its inclinations, so that even the Bordeaux blend Rombo is a unique and exceptional wine.
