Roero La Val dei Preti 2015 Matteo Correggia

Ruby red color.

On the nose it is fruity with cherry notes and in a more evident red plum. Do not miss the floral aspects with the violet to head. The notes of spontaneous herbs, roots and amaricants enrich the whole. Some stretches of chocolate along with some spices, such as vanilla, cinnamon close the picture.

In the mouth it is already balanced. The tannins are kind. Good minerality and similar acidity. On the other side of the scale, that is the softness, the pseudo heat of the alcohol and the poly alcohols are integrated with the hardness, for a great final result. Aromas of red fruit and china come from the palate. Very persistent.

The Roero La Val dei Preti of Matteo Correggia is the essence of Nebbiolo planted on the sandy soil of Roero. Concrete and exciting, it is confirmed each year as one of the best expressions of the territory.
