Langhe Nebbiolo 2016 Massolino Stelvin red wine

Ruby red.

Nose has clear aromas of red fruit such as plum, raspberry and wild strawberry. Follow the violet among the flowers, and some herbaceous notes. There are also some hints of undergrowth and roots

On the palate it is always very elegant, and stands out for ease in drinking. In fact, in the mouth it is pleasant in its freshness and its substantial balance. Shape and substance help each other happily to make it an excellent little Barolo. Once they are swallowed they arrive to the nasal receptors aromas of plum, and of undergrowth.

It has the ability to age happily, approaching over time to resemble a Barolo. It is often better than many barolos of less able producers. Of course, even less fortunate. Not all of them have the lands that have the Massolino.

Accompanies tajarin with meat sauce, grilled vegetables, and semi-mature cheeses.
